## NSS Orientation Programme Organized at Smt. K. B. Parekh College of Computer Science The **NSS Unit of Smt. K. B. Parekh College of Computer Science**, under **The Group of Parekh Colleges, Shree Balvant Parekh Education Trust**, organized an **NSS Orientation Programme** for the students. The programme aimed to familiarize students with the **objectives, activities, and role of NSS in community service**. Students were guided about how participation in NSS activities helps develop qualities such as **a spirit of service, leadership, discipline, teamwork, cooperation, and social responsibility**. On this occasion, students were encouraged to actively participate in various social service activities, including **cleanliness drives, environmental protection, health awareness programmes, rural development initiatives, blood donation camps, and other community-oriented activities**. The **Principal, faculty members, and BCA Semester–1 students** of the college were present during the programme. The programme concluded with a **vote of thanks delivered by the NSS Programme Officer**, who expressed gratitude to everyone for their active participation and support. The NSS Orientation Programme was an informative and inspiring initiative that encouraged students to contribute actively towards the welfare and development of society.
